Tasting Notes
Ritzy red fruit opens the aroma, with vanilla-framed cherry, currant, and raspberry with hints of craisin. These come through on the palate and are further emphasized if aerated. A fruity finish culminates with a zip of acidity and a kiss of chocolate, vanilla, and cherry. A rich mouthfeel, smooth tannins, and balanced acidity create an ideal texture trifecta.
Winemaker Notes
With this wine, we seek to do justice to an old-world classic. This wine was gently fermented and then aged in 100% French oak (40% new) for 32 months prior to bottling.
